 S. S. Rajamouli is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He was born on 8 October 1973 in Karnataka, India. He began his career as a screenwriter and director in the late 1990s and gained recognition with his directorial debut, Student No. 1, in 2001. Since then, he has directed several successful films including Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali: The Conclusion, Magadheera, and Eega.
